This privacy policy applies to the Sizewise app (hereby referred to as "Application") for iPhone and iPad, created by Anatoli Petrosyants (hereby referred to as "Service Provider"). This service is provided "AS IS".
Summary
Sizewise finds your ring size by measuring a ring against your device's screen.
- The Application does not require an account.
- The Application has no analytics, tracking, or advertising, and does not use any third-party analytics or crash-reporting service.
- Measuring happens entirely on your device and works fully offline. The Application does not use the camera, photos, or location.
- The few settings the Application remembers are stored on your device only.
- The Service Provider operates no servers and receives no data from the Application unless you personally email support.
Apple Devices Only
The Application is built exclusively for Apple's platforms and is distributed only through Apple's App Store.
- It runs on iPhone and iPad with iOS/iPadOS 26 or later.
- There is no Android version and no web app, and no cross-platform account.
Information Collection and Use
The Application does not collect personal information, and does not transmit usage data, device identifiers, measurements, or your IP address to the Service Provider.
The Application stores the following on your device, in its own local settings storage:
- The size standard you chose to display (for example US, UK/Australia, EU/ISO, Japan/China, or millimetres)
- Your appearance choice (light, dark, or follow the system)
- Whether you have already seen the introduction screens
Your choice of home screen icon is kept by iOS itself, not by the Application.
None of this is synced to iCloud or sent anywhere.
Measuring
To draw circles at true physical size, the Application needs to know how many pixels your screen packs into a millimetre.
- It reads your device's hardware model identifier (for example "iPhone17,3") and the screen scale from iOS, and looks the screen density up in a table built into the Application.
- This lookup happens locally. The model identifier is not stored, logged, or transmitted.
- The ring you measure is placed on the screen and sized with your finger. No camera, photo, or image of the ring is captured, and measurements are not saved or sent anywhere.
Personal Data
The Application does not require account creation and does not actively collect personally identifiable information.
If you contact the Service Provider through the in-app "Contact" option, an email to the Service Provider opens in Apple's Mail composer (or in your default mail app) with only a subject line filled in. Nothing is attached. You decide what to write and whether to send it, and the information you send is used only to respond to your request.
Sharing, Rating, and Links
- Share app — opens Apple's standard share sheet with a link to the Application on the App Store. You choose where, and whether, it goes.
- Rate app — opens the Application's page on the App Store, where reviews are handled by Apple under Apple's terms.
- Developer — opens the Service Provider's website in your browser, which is covered by that site's own terms.
The Application does not learn whether or where you shared, rated, or browsed.
Third-Party Services
The Application integrates no third-party analytics, crash-reporting, advertising, or tracking SDKs, and makes no network requests of its own.
It relies only on services and frameworks provided by Apple as part of the platform, such as the share sheet, Mail composer, alternate app icons, and the App Store.
Aggregate App Store metrics (such as downloads and crash reports) may be made available to the Service Provider by Apple through App Store Connect, subject to your device's "Share With App Developers" analytics setting in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements. This data comes from Apple, is not collected by the Application, and is not personally identifying.
Data Sharing
The Service Provider does not sell, trade, or rent your personal information, and holds no user data to share.
Information may only be disclosed:
- If required by law
- To protect rights, safety, or prevent fraud
Data Retention
The Service Provider stores no user data. The Application's settings live on your device until you change them or delete the Application.

Your Rights and Choices
- Change your settings — size standard, appearance, and app icon can be changed in the Application's settings at any time.
- Remove everything — uninstalling the Application removes all of its on-device data.
Because the Service Provider holds no personal data about you, there is no account to close and no data export to request.
Children's Privacy
The Application is suitable for all ages. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children, and parents or guardians can request deletion of any data inadvertently collected by contacting anatoli.petrosyants@gmail.com.
Security
The Application's settings are protected by your device's own security (passcode, Face ID/Touch ID, and iOS file encryption). Because the Service Provider operates no servers and stores no user data, there is no central database of your information to breach.
However, no method of transmission over a network or electronic storage is 100% secure.
Changes to This Policy
This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time, for example when features such as saved sizes are added. Updates will be reflected on this page with a revised effective date. You are advised to review this Privacy Policy periodically.
Effective Date
This Privacy Policy is effective as of 2026-10-13.
